webrewards.co.ukNewest Review: ... cash in your webrewards or convert them to ipoints. I guess this is just another example of the .com crisis which has been getting worse and worse over recent months. Companies can no longer afford to pay out cash just for people looking at adverts unless it is a very small amount and they can prove that it leads to hard conversions(ie orders for products or services) If you are an ipoints collector it is worth signing up as it is an easy way of collecting ipoints as you can convert webrewards over to ipoints immediately. It is worth doing this daily as three webrewards = one ipoint but they round them up e.g if you have two webrewards... more |

THIS SITE IS BEING WOUND UP ON THE 30TH AUGUST. CONVERT YOUR WEBREWARDS NOW. Webrewards has been acquired by ipoints.co.uk (which is a great site by the way) It will be wound up today (31st July 2001) so you have to either cash in your webrewards or convert them to ipoints. Having been on the webrewards programme for such a little time, one would expect to have earned very few points redeemable for nothing more than peanuts. However, earning opportunities were provided so thick and fast that I have been able to accumulate enough points for a Microsoft cordless mouse or an original game of Monopoly, amongst other things, with some rewards left. It's a different thing that I haven't redeemed yet, hoping for bigger rewards in the future. Since the points earned are valid for 3 years, there is a great chance that the user will leave with a sizeable gain. Most importantly however, rewards are easily collectible. The most convenient ... I joined webrewards a while ago and at first I was very happy to earn100 webrewards for filling in a questionaire but soon I was to find out just how hard it was to get hold of more. I have been playing the revelation game while biting my lip with anger at the pointless hastle of searching for the hidden item from the reward page, I would rather watch paint dry than go through that again. I did get to the stage when I finally had enough webrewards to order a gift but it takes forever to arrive and i'm still waiting its been over 4 weeks. The site is a good idea but they should have more ways of earning the webrewards and do something other than wind people up with ... Read the complete review

I have just recieved a mail informing me that as of the end of this month that web rewards the free earnings site would no longer be operating. The mail stated that they were merging ( taken over by ) with Ipoints, with the swap rate of three web rewards for one Ipoint. This news follows on from surfmiles closing and transfering any balance you may have had over to Ipoints, not that this has happened a full month after the promised date. All I can say is if you can spend any rewards you may have the do so. This definately spells the end off the "free" web in the U.K. as this follows on from the news that Beenz may be closing as well, however I must stress that ... Read the complete review

I have joined so many reward schemes on the internet that I have lost count of them. I recently recieved an email from webrewards that told me that it is ending on the 31st of july but on the plus side I can exchange my webreward points for I points another online reward scheme that I am a member of. I get 1 I point for every three webreward points I exchange which isn't a bad deal as you can get much better rewards from I points than webrewards as it doesn't do vouchers for high street shops. I am collecting these for christmas. It is still worthwhile joining webrewards if you are collecting I points just for the exchange rate if ... Read the complete review
