Advantages: Convenience, Ease of collection, Diversity
Disadvantages: Will not make you rich
I like web rewards. In my opinion there are three ways to make money from loyalty schemes. The first method is to find an activity you enjoy (such as being a member of an online community such as dooyoo) this ensures that your 'work' is done regularly because you have to put a lot of hours into any online activity to make it work. The second aproach is to shop. This can be enjoyable and can also save money but cannot (obviously) make you rich. If you want the internet to help you with your daily living expences then this method is obviously never going to work because you have to spend more money than you get. There are other ways of earning money that I am less keen on such as answering long questionares (too much like work, and as hard to get as a 'proper' job) and looking at adverts. Looking at adverts is OK and less hassle than a survey but it is obvious that there is a limit to how much you are going to be paid for it. Then we have Webrewards. This is a sort of hybryd of all of the activities that do not normaly work (shopping, lotteries ext) but in this case I think we can make it work quite well. With most schemes we need to spend our precious disposable income on something extra in order to earn something. With Webrewards all we have to do is register with Servista.com (the cheap utility people) and we will receive a steady trickle of rewards for switching on a light. We can enter a web lottery but with Webrewards as a conselation prize and so on. In other words Webrewards make activities viable that would not otherwise be worthwhile. It also seems to be a profesional looking site and hopefully this means that it will pay out when the time comes. Make sure you get the UK version. webrewards.co.uk
