Well, what can I say about this “gem”? *Ahem* This site works humorously by totally mocking the ‘trailer trash’ culture of groups of people in America’s deep south in a very crude way! The author uses bastardised English to emphasise the low IQs of his parodied subject with such pleasant phrases as “once yur don, go vist ma frinds at zgeek.com they ar ma frinds” Quite… The ‘author’, Gregg talks about his life on the trailer park and the interesting folk he meets. This site can't be real, my view is that the boy who done this has done it for a joke. The site was made by Gregg, a boy who lives in a trailer park in white rock Arizona. The site features pictures of his friends, a bit about them and pictures of the trailer park. Trailer parks are meant to be for the poor people in America. If you watch Jerry Springer you will ofter hear the phrase "Trailer park trash". This is meant if someone thinks you are scum, a whore, trash and useless. It's hard to imagine a funnier site about American culture. This place is truly the bomb. The style, the content: both perfect trailer trash. The pictures are wicked - loads of them are ripped off from other things; one of the family pictures is the founders of Microsoft way back when it started. There's a picture of Beth Orton with a funny caption somewhere there too. The internet is full of strange sites devoted to even stranger things. Sometimes however it is difficult to separate the genuine ones from the jokes...this is one such site. Everyone has visited a homepage at some point - you know those useless things which pictures of some American woman's cats or people's entire photo albums which you really don't care about. I can't make up my mind about this one. Not sure if it's funny or not - the first time I went there, it only took a minute to realise that it was a windup. "Trailer Park Trash" are the butt of more American jokes than Irish people are in the UK - and the jokes about the former are far nastier too. Trailer Park Trash are basically very poor white people, usually either unemployed or in very low paid menial jobs. There is a long running debate about whether their poverty is their own fault, or whether they should be given help to get out of it.
