I often get sleepless nights and on these occasions I like to while away the hours browsing the internet, seeing what weird and wonderful websites I can find. Tonight I came across this site, Wellgames, at www.wellgames.com
At first glance all appeared to be 'well' (please pardon the pun). The site features numerous sections devoted to different kinds of games, including various word games and other classics like sudoku. I was particularly taken by the comment near the end of the main page which said "you never need to install any programs on your computer" - this was particularly reassuring as I have previously installed what seemed like innocuous software on my computers, only to find them riddled with malware, viruses, or other similar nastiness.
The trouble was that every game that I tried to play tried to make me download an 'exe' file, completely at odds with what the site was saying about not having to install programs on my computer. Having been burned before I decided that it wasn't worth the risk and didn't download any of these files.
I'm afraid that this means that I can't actually comment on the effectiveness of the games (if indeed they are games and not nasty pieces of software just waiting to be downloaded and installed). I can't say that it bodes well though as the site itself says that you won't need to install software but then insists that you do just that to play the games.
Personally I'd advise against using this website as I don't think that it can be trusted.
