Wethamonline.net is one website i visit dailly. It has great news articles and is generally has a funny threads started by all manner of people. One thing is that if you decide to join this site be prepared for a baptisim of fire. To the uninitated it can seem a cruel rude vulgar vicious place.... actually that is a pretty good description of this comumity. but thats all part of its charm. and you can get shouted down or sworn at and not take offense knowing its all part of the members ways. on the flip side you can get really good advise in amoungt the funny sarcastic comments and underneath this Westham bunch are all softies at ... If a website is meant to mirror the clientele it serves, then WHO can safely say it reflects the Hammer fan base - the site is like a virtual crowd. There is the bit for the sad stattos out there (well someone will always want to know the precise minute goal was scored in the U15 cup tie), there is the "friendly" banter amongst the regulars, the odd bit of abuse from a visiting fan intent on showing that they may have grasped the concept of the internet, they just haven't grasped the concept of intelligence and most of all news that isn't just the speculative tentacles of a greedy agent trying to push through a deal for the latest Nobby No-Talent on ... West Ham Online, or 'the WHO' (to it's friends) is the best place to read the opinions of Hammer's fans. The messageboards are very lively and there's your chance to comment on every news story as they all have their own messageboard. The editor Alex V. takes care that he only publishes news stories that he believes to be true - and not tabloid tittle-tattle. This means the site doesn't carry quite as much news as sites such as 'Teamtalk' but who wants to hear some made up nonsense anyway? The site has had exclusive quotes from Paolo Di Canio in the past, and apparently he regularly visits the site to gauge the fans ... Read the complete review
