Not to sure about this site really. Most subscribers seem to be London based and regularly organise meet ups in a bar somewhere in central London. Not that useful if you live 40 miles away really! Doesnt stop anyone organising something somewhere else but having tried there just simply aren't enough people in the area to make it viable so non-London subscribers do miss out on a lot of the social scenes.

As a site its a bit crude. You have some 'can opener' questions, like ice breakers to read more about the personality of the user plus a photo. Its a bit brief and does seem to lend itself to purely appearance with little to read about the person its hard not to. The site has its own mail system with email alerts when you have new mail. A message board of sorts is all the 'chat' facilities available.

But, a party is made by who you invite not the location. There are some very funny and very inteligent people stashed around on the site but it does take a long time to find them!
