Wikipedia is the one site that I turn to whether I am stuck in Coursework or trying to find out when Michael Jackson performed his first concert! I find that Wikipedia is/has the answer to all of life's questions, for example if I wanted to know when Harry Hill was born I'd know in a Jiffy! The basic thing that Wikipedia relies on is the whole idea of an internet community to work and collaborate together to complete a set of archives giving detailed information to internet user's such as you and I. The best thing is that you don't even need an account to change edit some information! Occasionally your going to get a slip up and ... Read the complete review

Wikipedia is a type of encyclapedia, exclusivley online. It has information on virtually any topic you can think of, ranging from kings and queens of England to the latest bloackbuster movies and actors. The site is very handy if you want basic information about a subject, e.g dates etc. They give detailed descriptions and vast amounts of information but it is not always reliable. The site allows anyone of make changed and adjustments to the information provided, which results in a lot of inconsistancies and flaws. The site is a non profit organisation, run purely by volounters and so is free to use. It is great if you need quick information about ... Read the complete review

Wikipedia Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia with free access for anyone and availiable in many different languages. Wikipedia is a great tool and is really useful for finding information quickly, that would take along time to find in a book. The fact this is also a website means it updated regularly and keeps up to date with news and events around the world. This is also a great website as it is add free and can be updated / edited by anyone. This is a mixed blessing however as some information on it can be false and if it says (citation needed) means it is just someone's opinion rather than actual facts. Although this website is maintained by a ... Read the complete review

Google goes one better with Wikipedia. As if googling something was not helpful enough, you can now google your thing and have an online history of whatever you are searching for thanks to the Wikipedia. It is a cunning and handy device which is particularly useful for those who wish to seek out information for business, homework or ahem review writing! I have actually found it useful for my reviews on here, if I am unsure of a fact, I sometimes dip into this site to see what they have to say, to make sure that what I am writing is correct. That said, it is no good dipping into Wikpedia and just copying and pasting chunks for reviews or homework, as it will be obvious ... Read the complete review

Wikipedia is a free access encyclopedia which is edited by the people who use the site, there are articles on literally everything and its very up to date. Wikipedia is as I said a peer reviewed encyclopedia giving details about anything a curious person may wish to know about, he articles are written by someone interested on that topic and then can be edited by other users. This gives the site a great degree of freedom, and is therefore free from copyright and licensing laws. The site is free to use and is a god send for anyone wanting laymen level details on anything they are interested in that day. I often use the site, not just to make sure my ...
