Wikipedia

Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia with free access for anyone and availiable in many different languages. Wikipedia is a great tool and is really useful for finding information quickly, that would take along time to find in a book. The fact this is also a website means it updated regularly and keeps up to date with news and events around the world.

This is also a great website as it is add free and can be updated / edited by anyone. This is a mixed blessing however as some information on it can be false and if it says (citation needed) means it is just someone's opinion rather than actual facts. Although this website is maintained by a few volunteers there is no chance that they will be able to ensure all of the information is true on it so it's information can be of minimal use somtimes. For just general information this is great, but for actual academic reasearch it is no good and make sure you are aware of the websites flaws.
