Advantages: cost effective
Disadvantages: poor communication within XLN departments
So far not a good experience, a week and a half after the official office move I still dont have the promised VOIP system or a fax line. The engineers even appeared at the old office a week after we had vacated to 'repair' the fault, no one appeared to understand that I wanted what had been promised, transer of an existing number to another site. I've been charged for a wireless router when I was told a wired router would be provided foc, the wireless isnt expensive and I'll happily pay however it wasnt in the initial agreement, I was informed I'd be supplied with a 'special' phone to facilitate the VOIP system-still dont have that. I have been passed pillar to post and around the houses for what seems to be hours on the phone ending up where I started without making progress. No answer to 2 of my emails asking for assistance from my initial 2 points of contact Ayden and Oscar (who initally were excellent, very communicative and helpful, however they have now ceased to be contactable). Poor Christine Oscar got an earful from me however she then sent a reply back immediately escalating my problem to faults department (hope that she has better luck than me).
I'm sure when all the problems have been sorted this will be an excellent system and very cost effective compared to our old telecom provider.
Summary: Should be a good system and do what I want once the 'teething' problems have been sorted
