Yahoo.com is a global company. It is number one in the world in the list of most visited sites. Yahoo gets 130 million visits a month. I was surprised at this because I thought Google site was more popular.

I use Yahoo because most of it is free.

You can go anywhere in the world and find local site of yahoo. Here in Britain we have yahoo.co.uk. Every local site contains information about that part of the globe. Yahoo.co.uk will have information and advertising relating to us here. American site will have same for Americans.

Often when I use Yahoo search engine it gets better results than others.

It is remarkable that a company worth billions on America Stock Exchange gives us free access. Most revenue is generated from advertising so for decades this is likely to continue.
