In my search for a decent POP3 mailservice to cope with my portable and desktop needs, I tried yahoo.

The service is very good, fast and has plenty of options for the user.

One big drawback of the service is the Yahoo signature appended to the bottom of each message. Not too businesslike me thinks.

From Yahoo, I emigrated to www.myrealbox.com - a much better service with many more options than Yahoo, but sadly dogged with delays and outages.

I have now settled for www.gmx.net which is a downgrade from the options point of view, but offers 10mb of mail storage and so far is 100 percent reliable.
