Advantages: the forum! brilliant

Disadvantages: cannot search easily for posts

I am totally addicted to this website.

As a bride to be I am very very excited about my forthcoming wedding but am aware that I could bore my friends half to death with wedding prattle. I have found my saviour.......

You and Your Wedding boasts a brilliant forum where you can post messages, meet other brides, share information, seek advice and generally get excited about weddings. The other brides who use this site are really friendly and offer some useful advice.

It is a brilliant way of getting recommendations for suppliers to use as the women post honestly about their own experiences so you can book on the basis of personal recommendation.

My favourite thing about the forums is that women who use it in the build up to their day come back and post wedding reports on their day and post pictures so you can see their day, find out what worked well and steal their ideas!!!

The website also has links to suppliers, advice and informaiton on wedidngs....which is really useful if you are unsure of the legal aspects or something more unusual.

My only criticism is that if you read a post and then navigate away it can be difficult to find the thread again as the site does not have a very sophisticated search function. However, after a while you being to remember which thread you were in and where tofind it again so it becomes less of an issue.

It has a brilliant wedding countdown so every time you log on it tells you how long you have to go to the big day which is always exciting. Mine has counted down from over 750 to 350 and it is really fun!

A must for all prospective brides!!
