Advantages: pays money
Disadvantages: takes long time to pay money
Yougov is a survey site. It started off as political survey site . Several political journalists have written on the site. Lately Yougov has expanded into other areas. I did surveys which had questions about company images and products.
Readers of survey site reviews must now by now you have to register in order to be offered work. Survey links are sent to you via email, log into the site and you will find the survey waiting for you.
I joined a while ago (4 years I think). I still haven't been paid yet. I have £35.60 sitting in the account. The money will be sent to me when I have earned £50. It has taken a while to get to this stage. I presume it will take at least another year to reach the magic mark of £50 anc claim the cheque. That is the only way members of the site are paid. Surveys pay 50p 75p £1 etc, average is 50p.
Surveys from Yougov don't take too long to complete and some of the questions maybe more interesting than questions from other survey companies. Site is OK. You can read aritcles posted by several famous people.
It loads easily and is easy to navigate.
If you can wait for few years to claim your earnings go for it, join this site.

- 20/05/07 I joined about 2 years ago and have been paid once- it took about a year or a year and a half to get to payment. I wasn't gonna do anymore after that because I thought it'd take ages again but decided to carry on. I now have about £25 in my account and expect it to take at least half a year to get to payment again.
Overally I'd say it's worth it, wish they'd lower the payment to £25 or something though!
They send the cheque quickly, I got mine within a week or two after reaching £50.
P.s- Yeh I know about the Brand Index surveys, they're the same practically every time! I hate them! |
