Advantages: Great range and variety of videos

Everyone's heard of Youtube, but have you heard of Youku? Youku is a chinese video website, just like youtube, and you can watch anything from news snips to full length movies, all you have to do is stream it!

The name is easy to remember, and the interface is just as easy to use. It has an obvious search bar, where you can search what you want to watch, and its got a nice ice blue coloured theme.

Once you've successfully searched for your clip, you just need to wait for it to buffer, and you can watch it!

One good thing about it, is that if you lose internet connection, if its fully buffered, you can still watch it. And also, the quality is very good. However, as it is a chinese website, the site IS in chinese, but even still, it is easy to navigate, as it is so obvious! You can work out whether it is the video you want by the video length, as well as the screen capture. More often than not, your clip will have an english title aswell!!!

I found this site extremely useful, if you can handle the slightly long buffering times, but once it has fully buffered, it is great, and few interruptions, apart from the chinese subtitles, which most people can ignore!

I would highly recommend this site, as it has a wide range of programs/films uploaded on there, and at a cost of a slightly longer buffering time, it is worth it!!
