Advantages: Free and plenty of videos

Disadvantages: It slows down

Youtube is a video sharing website and it is free to use and easy to navigate.

You cannot download videos, but you can watch them as many times as you want. It is easy to find the videos which interest you, either by keying the name of the artist or the subject in the search engine.

If you wish to upload videos, or if you wish to leave comments, and to some extent, be part of the community there, you can create a login.

Youtube is addictive, or, in my experience at least, can become addictive because it is easy to be carried away and find videos of artists who play the same music of some bands you knew, or because you end up watching very funny and stupid videos.

Although most of the videos are in English, there is a huge content of foreign language videos.

If you have not visited youtube yet, I suggest you do it.
