Morphy Richards 40687 ... our iron for under £20 on special offer a couple of years ago from local tesco. we only purchased it because ours had just broken down ands we needed something cheap that worked til we could spend a bit more. We use th iron 3-4 times a week for long periods..our household contains 2 adults and 3 teenagers so you can imagine the mountains of laundry and ironing. this iron has always performed excellent, a good shot of steam when needed, great settings, easy to use..well worth its weight in gold..well its really light to handle actually and gets creases out of heavy garments a treat, and much better than my previous iron which was much more expensive! wow! it has a go... Morphy Richards 40708 ... this iron at a bargain price two years ago,and compared to other cheap irons i have bought in the past ,this one is the best and it is a good value for money ,a must have product. IT does its work really well,it is good you can iron out creases fom clothes ,sheets, jean childrens wear and everything you name it.It has some good features that come in handy when you are ironing for example a circle thing that can be used to adjust temperature, a fine water spray that comes in handy when ironing very dry clothes that need to be dampend,it has a big water tank that saves you from constantly filling the tank during ironing ,it also has a cushioned comfy grip handle that... Tefal Pro Express Turbo 2941 ... hate ironing!. I would do anything to avoid it. Then my husband treated me ( if you can call an iron a treat) to the Tefal Pro Express Turbo. Now you can all bring your shirts round if you want! Seriously though this iron is amazing. It has a maximum wattage of 2260 and has 4 bars of steam pressure. There is a built in lime scale preventer which means that you use ordinary tap water. The water tank is detachable for easy filling and when it requires refilling during ironing you do not need to turn the iron off first. This guarantees continuous ironing.
