Advantages: Does what it says on the box
Disadvantages: Size & price
I'm sorry I just spent how much on an iron! Well I didn't thankfully! I won it in a competition. My idea at first was to flog it on eBay or something but my mum really wanted it so I was holding onto it for her and thought I'd give it a go. Normally I don't iron very much. I try and hang things up in just the right way that they un-crease or take them to the laundrette and chuck them in the dryer.
The iron/steamer is one of those ones with a stand. It's not huge but being bigger than just an iron it takes up too much room in my little kitchen. Very easy to fill up and use. It has an anti-calcsystem. I didn't know what that meant but my mum says it means that the iron doesn't build up that stuff on the plate that can leave marks on clothing. The base refills the iron part so no need to watch the water levels and base holds 1 litre of water.

My mum loves the iron still one month on. The only problems I had were the size and that I felt the heat didn't get high enough for my liking.
Wouldn't be my choice due to price (according to my mum the Amazon price is actually really good) and size but if you need a steamer/iron and have the room then I would recommend this one. My mum says it's brilliant on her work shirts and suits. When I had it I used it on my sons Tae Kwon Do suits and they did look good. A big plus would be that the hand held iron part is very lightweight and easy to move around.
