Morphy Richards Jetstream 42270 is a fantastic 2200 watt steam generator iron.
It retails for between £50-£60 and is definetly one of the cheapest steam generators on the market.
I have been using this model for about six months now and can definetly say I am surprised for an iron to achieve such great results especially for the price I paid for it.
Using this Iron is simple. There is a removable water tank with a filter. Fill the water tank to the 'fill' line and return it to the base where the iron itself sits.
The iron takes a few minutes to heat but when it is ready the light on the handle of the iron will go off.
Simply pick the iron from the base and press down the button on the underneath of the handle. This will cause a hissing sound for a few seconds and once this goes you are ready to steam away!
The thing I like most about this iron is the speed you can get through the ironing at. I have always hated ironing but with this product it makes it a little easier and quicker.
All that is required to lift creases is a once over with this iron and some items may only need to be ironed on one side.
It is also great for steaming clothes suck as dresses on the hanger.
There is really no need to touch the clothes with the iron, the steam is adequete to lift the creases, this makes it great for delicate items.
Overall, I highly recommend this steam generator from Morphy Richards. It does a fantastic job in no time at all and is cheaper than most on the market.

Nar2 - 09/06/08 Good review here although it would be good to comment on the general controls, ease or difficulty, weight of the iron, any downsides such as does it have a self cleaning function and how big is the tank? Also what is the wattage?
