Advantages: 1 litre water tank, which gives plenty of steam.

Disadvantages: little bit bulky

I recently bought a Morthy Richards Jet stream iron for £69.99 from Morrison's. After hunting around I found this one of the cheaper steam generator irons on the market.

The iron itself is 2200 watts and comes with a two year warranty and the water tank has a capacity of 1 litre, so there is no need to keep filling up with water when you have a pile of ironing to do. It also comes with a stainless steel soleplate, and 1.8 metres of power cord. Also the removable water tank comes with an anti scale cartridge. The iron also has vertical steaming which alloys you to get creases out of garments while they are hanging up.

Personally I think it is a great iron which gives great results and powers through the most challenging of creases. It is simple to use, you just press down the button when you require the steam, and with no effort at all the creases are removed.

The iron does take a few minutes to warm up, and it's quite bulky for storage, but Overall the Morthy Richards jet stream is a great iron, and I highly recommend it.
