Rowenta Surfline DE 329 ... Do you iron pillow cases, sheets, underwear? DON’T! Don’t if you don’t enjoy it, if ironing doesn’t give YOU genuine satisfaction. Don’t tell me that you do it for your hubby/boyfriend/live-in partner because he wants/needs/ must have ironed pillow cases, sheets and underwear. I seriously believe that a man doesn’t notice these things by himself if not conditioned by a female. If you’re the one responsible, de-condition him step by step and use your free time for something you do enjoy. I won’t argue with you if you love ironing - everyone to their taste. Rowenta Precision DM520 Powersteam Iron ... seems to interrupt and come at the wrong time recently. Reality sinks in. I tell him where his silly brief case is and view the pile of laundry still to be ironed. It's supposedly my turn again, but at least I've got a new friend to help me. My previous iron has gone where all the good irons go once their heat has faded forever. I now have a new little helper. He's called Rowenta Precision. I got him from a shop, Argos I think it was called, where they have lots of lonely irons each hoping for a good home. Rowenta DE629 P2 ... have now had our P2 for some time now and it has always been excellent. We were given some very useful advice from the John lewis assistants (I have found JL always to be very good). The stainlees steel sole plate is very good but does make the iron quite heavy compared to other irons. It has a very good steam facility which means you can steam iron clothes that are hanging up.
