Singer Featherweight II 117 Sewing Machine

I love being able to use a simple light sewing machine. I dont have alot of room in my house so when I want to use my sewing maching I actually have to get it out to use it then when I'm done I have to pack it up again so it makes such a difference to have a light one that can be stored on the top shelf of the cuboard. This sewing machine is incredible easy to use and a credit to the singer brand name. Singer is something you can trust I have used serveral machines made by singer and they are brilliant. This is a pretty good machine. It gets the job done and has enough settings and options to satisfy most part-time tailors. I wouldn't reccomend it for use in a shop, but if you're making or altering clothes out of your home, it works well enough. I picked up one for much cheaper than the listed price over in the states. I am not great at sewing and it's been an interesting learning experience, and so far, I haven't had any real problems with this machine that I wouldn't have with any other.
