I bought this iron after a friend recommended I buy a Tefal Iron as she'd had no problems whatsoever with them in the past. It was a great iron, not too heavy but heavy enough to get creases out of bedding and jeans. Steam was very powerful, and so was the waterjet. The cord was quite long so never had any issues moving around. I particularly liked that you could fill the water up through the back of the iron. I've had this iron for about a year now, but last night it stopped working in the middle of ironing a big pile of clothes! Tried changing the fuse to see if it was that, but that didn't work. This iron was bought as a replacement for an older product. As the older Tefal iron had lasted well, quality and longetivity were to be expected from this brand. Both irons feature the same ceramic plate easy glide technology which is meant to reduce friction between the clothing and the iron to allow ironing to be as easy as possible. The iron has a large capacity water tank which only needs filled every couple of days and that's for a whole family of four's clothing.
