Pandora 590702HV Silver Bracelet
by rji0907
After being envious of many of my friends who were the proud owners of Pandora bracelets, I was very excited when my partner took me to our local shopping centre to purchase me one as an Easter Present.
I was surprised when I got to the Pandora counter at how many different types of bracelets there were, but after much ... deliberation, I went for the Sterling Silver bracelet which was available at £99.00. They do a gold one and coloured ones too, though the gold one was around £700.00 so I thought I was pushing my luck a bit asking for that one!!
£99.00 may seem a little steep for a sterling silver bracelet but as this is Pandora, it didn't concern me that my partner had paid that much for it. Anyone who knows about Pandora bracelets will know that it isn't the bracelet itself that makes it so special, it's what you can do with it. I have the tiniest wrists and was concerned that the bracelet wouldn't fit me properly, so I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that they do different sized bracelets as they cannot be altered. I had the smallest size and it fits perfectly.
Pandora bracelets are charm bracelets with a huge array of sterling silver, gold, wooden, glass etc. Prices of charms range from £25.00 to £300.00 and they have literally every kind of design you could possibly want in all shapes and colours. Even choosing the bracelet itself was a chore as you can have silver, gold or coloured bracelets.
You can really personalise the bracelet to your own tastes. As my bracelet is silver I have gone for charms which are silver and pink and have charms such as breast cancer awareness (a charity close to my heart as my Mom had it), a son charm, a 'B' charm (after my son), a horseshoe, a football, a heart one from my partner and a couple of silver and baby pink ones just for decorative purposes.
You can find charms that are really personal to you and you end up with a really classy looking bracelet full of charms which almost tell a story of your life and that is what I love about it. My bracelet is nowhere near full yet and I have room for a few more charms yet and I love searching the different charms available and receiving them on special occasions.
You can view the entire Pandora charm range via a catalogue which you can get in store, on their website or on their smartphone App and you are pretty certain to never had the exact same bracelet as anyone else with over 600 charms to choose from.
Obviously to fill your bracelet up isn't cheap. With the cheapest charm being £25.00, you are going to spend a good £2-300 at least filling the bracelet up and that's if you choose the cheapest charms. Most charms tend to be around the £30-60 mark with the more expensive ones being 14 carot gold, hence the high price tags. You can have silver charms, silver and gold plain or silver and gold with coloured stones in. The quality of the charms and bracelet is unmatched in my opinion and it looks really delicate and classy on the wrist. The bracelet attaches together via a silver clasp which I did find a little tricky to start with but you soon get the hang of it. Even the silver clasp has a classy edge to it with the word Pandora being written in black across it.
I am sure there are cheap imitations of this bracelet available but I wouldn't have anything less than the real thing. Of course it is expensive but it just looks divine and is perfect for daywear and evening wear in my opinion as it looks really pretty and feminine, even when covered with charms. It doesn't look big and bulky or cheap and tacky. Even at first glance, you know that this bracelet is an excellent quality piece of jewellery and although thousands of women across the country now have them, you never feel like you have just followed the crowd with this as you tailor it to your individual style.
The service from Pandora staff was excellent and very professional. They obviously realise you are spending quite a lot of money with them and do what they can to look after you. They really seemed to know their stuff and advised me well on what would suit me and how it all works etc. The bracelet comes in a lovely little gift box in a very stylish looking white and black Pandora bag so these charms would make a great Birthday/Christmas gift for someone that you know has a bracelet and they will instantly know just from the presentation alone that you have really gone to town in choosing a gift for them. Pandora do other items of jewellery too such as earrings, necklaces and rings, but I think it is their charm bracelet range that is the most popular.
Overall, as you have probably guessed by now, I love my Pandora bracelet and it is pretty much permanently attached to my wrist. It compliments most outfits and looks pretty, feminine and classy. You can make it look pretty and purely use it for cosmetic purposes, or you can use it to really make a statement of who you are and that's what I have done. A lot of my charms are centred around my son and what he means to me and that's what makes it so special to me. The fact that it is expensive and looks fantastic is a bonus. I adore this bracelet and it comes with a high recommendation from me. Read the complete review |
