Primark Diamante Heart Ring
by coventry123
Primark is one of my favourite high street stores for more reasons than just the price. Despite their incredibly low prices they still manage to stock the latest fashions and usually have all sizes available which helps to avoid disappointment. Alongside the rails of clothing and racks of shoes are the displays of jewellery most of which ... are exact replicas of the fashion jewellery which sells in TopShop and River Island for double the price tag!
This love heart style ring is one that I picked up several months ago so I'm not sure if it is still in stock in store as it was a popular choice due to Asos and other retailers selling the similar items at top prices! My main reason for picking this ring up was to go with my new black maxi dress, the dress was quite plain so I thought that accessorising it would help to jazz my outfit up a bit.
To look at the ring has a gold band with a large love heart attached to the front of it. The love heart is black and patent with a gold diamante trim which adds sparkle and glamour.
The ring was available in small/medium and medium/large. I chose the small/medium and the ring is a little too big for me but not big enough to fall off my finger so I just have to be cautious when wearing it.
I also predicted that the diamantes may fall out due to poor quality but so far my diamantes have stayed intact meaning that my ring still looks complete and glam!
Due to the ring being from Primark and being so cheap I envisaged a bright green finger after wearing the ring but was pleasantly surprised-the ring only left a slight discolouration and I have also found that jewellery from TopShop and Asos has left my fingers discoloured also so this is no discredit to Primark.
The ring had a lowly price tag of £2 which is great for this high fashion piece. It was retailing for triple the price in TopShop for an exact replica so as you can imagine these flew out of the shops. The ring is very versatile and can be used for nights out or casual days which means I have got my wear out of it and will continue to do so. Read the complete review |

Primark Flower Ring
by daisylee3
I discovered these pretty little rings in my primark over the weekend and got myself one as it's summer and the design of the ring is really summery.
The ring has a gold band and on the front has a beautiful little flower which has a golden diamante stud in the middle and coloured overlapping petals. They're also available ... with silver bands and studs, but i personally found the gold to be slightly more summery as it's a warmer colour. The petals add a 3D effect to the ring and adds a chunky look to it, making it stand out; it's not a very discreet ring. The material the petals are made out of feels a bit like hard plastic.
Obviously the band isn't real gold, or real silver, and although it was a cheap ring at just £1.50, it hasn't left any green on my finger just yet and it seems nice and solid.
There are lots of colours available; cream, pink, orange, beige, red, yellow, blue, black, etc. I have a pale pink one and it's really girly, summery and goes nicely with a floral dress.
I was a bit worried it'd look tacky/chavvy but it really doesn't.
There are 3 sizes available, small medium and largel. I have tiny fingers so got the S and it fits well, not too tight but definetly won't be able to fall off. The large size looks enormous, and even though there are only 3 sizes available the size of the large/mediums/smalls etc sometimes vary slightly, one large may be larger than another large, so i'd reccomend trying the ring on before buying to ensure it's the right size.
Overall these rings aren't anything special but they're a nice little item to wear to brighten up an outfit.
They also have these available in a slightly smaller stud ear ring form (£1 for 1 pair) if anyone's interested :-) Read the complete review |

Primark Diamante Snake Ring
by PandaEyes
I have never been too fond of Primark jewellery until last year, when I just wanted some cheap jewellery to take with me on holiday. I got tons of bracelets, a necklace and ring for under £10! I am lucky if I get one of these that I really like for under £10 in the shops I usually shop in such as Miss Selfridge and ... Topshop.
They have lots to choose from in many different colours. One thing that caught my eye recently is this snake ring in gold. Mine is slightly different to that in the picture and isn't as sparkly, and is all gold. The snakes eyes are also silver on mine and not black. It only cost me £2. I got medium but you can also get this in the sizes small and large. I am not sure if they do extra large, but there wasn't any when I bought mine.
All jewellery I own that isn't actually real gold or silver goes a horrible rusty red colour after a while, and so I expected this to happen with this ring eventually too. However, I can see that the back of it has started to turn red already, but the actual snake hasn't so it isn't very noticeable, and so I still wear it and will keep on wearing it until the snake starts to lose its gold colour, as then it will just look tacky! I have had this ring for about three weeks now.
It does make my finger turn green after wearing it for so long, but then so does any fake jewellery from anywhere else, so it isn't just Primark's jewellery!
I really do like this stylish ring and have seen some very similar in other shops such as Topshop, but costing about five times as much as I paid! Snake rings and many other animal rings seem to be quite popular at the moment, so Primark are doing good at keeping up with the trends for all you fashion lovers!
I think I will get another couple of weeks out of this until it all starts to turn a rusty red colour, but I really wouldn't mind considering it only cost me £2 and I have been wearing it a lot. After buying this, I would happily buy other rings, and jewellery in general, from Primark. Read the complete review |
