A nice 'solid' but light in the ear buy!

For Christmas my parents never know what to get me. I am someone who owns loads of stuff and if I mention something, next minute it became essential to me to own it and I've dipped my hand inside my purse and purchased it/them/whatever myself lol! I'm terrrible for doing that which causes alot of confusion for people buying me gifts believe me lol!

My Step Father though I think knows me best. He knows I like my smellies and he knows I like jewellery and that I hold the opinion that you can never own too much of those things so was pleased when, for Christmas when I opened these up!

These earrings of course come in a pair! They are 9ct gold and what I can only describe as knot shaped though they are called tube cross earrings by the people at Asda.

For me, I don't like drop style earrings really and prefer something that doesn't dangle too much. As a girl I wore earrings too large and too big and almost split my lobes open and as a 36 year old that is not a look I ever want to sport nowadays!

I have no idea of the packaging these came in. My Step Father usually buys his own little presentation boxes that are rather elegant for me and my mother to store our 'posh' jewellery in and so mine turned up in a gorgeous velvet box.

Style wise these are simply lovely and great for a smart day time look or a classy night time one. What you get is three gold and chunky kind of squared off round shaped interlinked hoops and then three small bars in a block effect over that just to give the earrings an attractive look. The part that goes though the ear is of course still gold (as is the butterfly catches which are not too small) is long enough and once you've done them up they are really secure. The earrings do not move once in the ear and the parts that are linked on the earring are not movable parts so they stay looking solid

These are shiny, slightly chunky and not one bit flimsy earrings. Another pet hate of mine is that I don't appreciate heavy earrings and although these are a substantial bit of gold they really are not one bit heavy but perfectly finished whihc a lovely high polished shine to them.

I love these earrings and they go with a wide assortment of my gold collection and as a bonus, if you like them (at the moment) these are on offer for £27.00 instead of £54.00 a pair which is a whopping £27.00 my Step Dad didn't save before Christmas!

Lovely, well made good quality and 'sensible' earrings these cross the ages well and both me and my mum got a pair of these! A great buy!
