“ Brand: Asda / Type: Earrings „
When it comes to jewellery I have rather a large collection. My collection is made from a few real gold items right through to plastic stuff from Primark. One thing up until recently I didn't own was a pair of white gold earrings and I really wanted a plain pair to go with a plain 9ct white gold necklace I had last Christmas and up prior to my Step Father purchasing these for me I had previously been wearing the white gold necklace with plain and small silver hoops.
So, this Christmas I asked for a pair of these. I'd already seen them on asdadirect.com (also available from some actual Asda stores too) and at £35.00 a pair that looked a reasonable price for what they are and so I was happy to recieve these after dropping numerous hints!
I have no idea about the packaging these come in. I assume they come in a plastic box though my Step Dad is really funny about his presentation of gifts and he pops both me and my mums jewellery into little velvet boxes and always has done.
The Measurements of a pair of these earrings is H1.9 x W1.7 x 0.5cm and interestingly although I am pretty sure that these are gold as we told and charged for, they have no hallmark on them and beelieve me I have hunted high and low for it! They are a silver colour but I think the difference between silver and white gold is vast with a white gold having an almost bluey coloured hue to it and they are highly polished and bright.
Round in shape with a secure hinge clip fastening to the top of them that is really simple to do up and close these are rather chunky, have no sharpe edges to them and although look a substantial and not one bit flimsy, they are surprising light and don't pull my earlobe down at all.
I really do like these simple earrings and think that they offer great value for money for what they are. Simple enough to wear casual or to dress up I can't see why anyone would dislike these at all and I really like my pair and believe they are certainly worth £35.00!
