The brooch has a gold coloured metal backing with a long pin attached on the reverse side. The pin has a swivel closure so the sharp end it tucked in firmly and securely to avoid any potentially painful accidents. I like to shop online as opposed to battling my way along the high street, and ASOS is one of my favourite retailers. I usually browse their site whenever there is a good sale going on, or if I am looking for something specific. I found this gorgeous brooch in the Jewellery section where it was reduced from the RRP of £6.00 to just £4.00. I thought it looked stylish and unique so I added it to my order. Unfortunately for others, it seems to have sold out now. I don't wear a lot of jewellery and prefer to dress up my outfits with statement accessories such as hats, bags and scarves.
