      Beautiful ring

      This is my engagement ring. My partner bought it about a year ago but at the time, it was Empire stores rather than K and Co. I believe they have now changed their name to K and Co.

      The ring is simply called a 50pt Solitaire Engagement Ring. Mine is exactly the same as the one shown above except mine is white gold and the one above is yellow gold. When I had a look on the website I couldnt find the white gold one so I am assuming they no longer sell it and now only sell the yellow gold one.

      ==How does it look?==

      The ring is exactly what I was hoping for in an engagement ring. It is quite simple but thats how I wanted it. There is just one diamond which is half a carat in size and this is elevated in a white gold casing. Either side of the diamond as you can see in the picture there is a nice design with two small circle shapes in the triangular gaps. I really like this addition to the ring and think the pattern really sets the ring off and makes it slightly different to some of the other rings on the market.

      ==Wearing the ring==

      When I finally got the ring I couldn't wait to try it on! He had ordered me an M which is the right size for my finger. Initially I felt it was a little too small but I think it was just because I wasn't used to having a ring on that finger and it soon felt fine and fitted perfectly. Therefore, I would say the sizings are correct.

      The ring looks great on, the diamond is large enough for people to notice and it is very sparkly and catches all of the light. Many people have commented on the ring and I absolutely love it.

      I have had the ring size July 2010 and it still looks very shiny and sparkly. It would probably benefit from a clean (must get some cleaner!) but it still looks great. The band has a few surface scratches but nothing deep and these cannot be noticed unless you really study the ring.

      ==Price and Availability==

      Well as I said, my exact ring is no longer available. However, the yellow gold alternative is available from K and Co for £825.00.

      ==Would I recommend this ring?==

      Yes. It is exactly what I was hoping for and I think it looks great. I think the size of the diamond is perfect and think the band of the ring is simple, yet stylish and I love the added addition of the pattern around the sides of the diamond.
