Links of London Sweetie Bracelet
Advantages: Good quality, great for every day
The Links of London Sweetie Bracelet is made up of lots of sterling silver links on an elasticated band, in a similar design to the candy bracelets you can buy from the newsagents! Every so often there is a split link, a bit like a keyring, which is where you can attach charms to if you wish. There is one slightly thicker link which has the Links of London logo engraved into it.
The bracelet comes in 3 different sizes, small, medium and large. I would say I have very small wrists but I actually have the medium. It does drop down onto my hand slightly but this isn't a problem, this is where most my bracelets sit.
I got bought this as a present from my boyfriend for Christmas, but having looked on the website the bracelet retails at £110.00. I think this is a bit pricey but my friend bought a 'fake one' and comparing them both together mine feels so much more expensive, sturdier and is more shiney.
The bracelet comes in a little black pouch with the links of london logo on in, inside a lovely little cream oval shaped box, again with the links logo on top, wrapped up in a black bow, inside a links of london gift bag! It looks really classy and expensive, I have kept my pouch, box and bag. For this reason I think it makes a really nice gift.
I would be very careful of websites trying to sell you fake ones as there are a lot of them about, so make sure you use the official website.
You can buy charms to go on the bracelet, most jewellers sell these, or again you can order them from the offical website. Charms start from about £30.00.
I personally like my bracelet plain. If I was to have a charm I think I would just have the one.
I wear my bracelet every day, it sits nicely on the wrist and doesn't get in the way or weigh your wrist down like some bracelets do. It is a good solid piece of jewellery and even though it is only strung together on a piece of elastic, it feels quite strong.
I feel very classy when wearing my bracelet and I have had lots of compliments on it.
Links of London recommend you get your bracelet re-strung every 12 months. I got mine at Christmas and have worn it every day since, it doesn't feel at all loose - but I don't have any charms on mine, so perhaps the charms weigh it down a bit more.
I normally prefer white gold jewellery, rather than sterling silver, but this is very good quality - it has stayed nice and shiney and has not tarnished at all.
If you are looking for a classy bit of jewellery for every day, I think this makes a great gift and the charms (if you like them) can be very sentimental and a lovely keepsake.
Thank you for reading.
