Advantages: cute and fun jewelery
Disadvantages: none for me
I first heard of links of london about six months ago, my sister is a big fan and always up to date with recent fashion trends and got me hooked on it. It seems to be really popular and have recently noticed lots of people wearing them.
My first links of london purchase was this sweetie bracelet and then you can buy many charms to add to the bracelet, this can be expensive i own six charms for my bracelet the charms can cost from £40 upwards for one, the bracelet cost £110. My bracelet and charms have cost me £350 in total which is a little expensive for one piece of jewelery.
The bracelet can be bought on the links of london website or shops, the packaging is amazing and very classy, the bracelet came in a box thats cream and black with the links of london trademark embossed on it and with a black ribbon on the box. Once you open the box the bracelet is in side a velour black drawstring pouch and the pouch has the trademark in gold writing. It looks lovely and would make a fantastic present the way it is presented.
The bracelet is made up of lots of small sterling silver hoops, the hoops are held on a expandable elasticate. There is one thick hoop that is hallmarked. The bracelet comes in 3 sizes so you can have a perfect fit small-150mm medium-160mm and large-170mm. I was going to count how many hoops there are but i gave up counting.
Once you have your bracelet you can then start buying your charms, thats the fun part for me. They have over 150 charms to choose from including ballet shoes, enamel hearts, engagement rings and scottie dog and many more.I prefer to go to the shop to have my charms added and have never been charged for it. As i have said they cost from £40, yes it can be expensive but i asked for them for birthdays and christmas presents and i have bought a few myself.
The bracelet strong and very well made and its sterling silver which i trust, i have had no problems with mine its not tarnished in colour and i have done the dishes many times while wearing it. Its very comfortable to wear and light on my wrist. I have had many compliment while wearing it and have now got a few friends hooked on links of london. I have bought them online and they arrive fast and safely. The shops have fantastic and helpful customer service which is a must for me.
Be careful when buying online and only use the genuine links of london web page as i have noticed many fakes on ebay and i must say are terrible fakes at that.
Im happy to pay the prices for the links of london items as its great quality i give it 5 dooyoo stars.
Summary: you can personalise it with your own personality!
