      Bargain bracelet

After my exams, I thought I deserved to treat myself. So when I wandered into New Look and saw this bracelet, it didn't take much convincing for me to buy it.

I think what primarily appealed to me was the fact that it reminded me of the (very much more expensive) Pandora bracelets, with its charms. The bracelet comes with 15 charms of varying designs. Some are plain silver, some include little gems, and most have heart designs on them, although there are also ones with a 'swirl' design and another with a braided rope design. There is space to add your own charms, but I do not know how well they would stay on, and in honesty I'm happy with the charms that come with the bracelet rather than feeling the need to add any extra ones.

The bracelet comes in a choice of two colours: silver or gold. I opted for the silver one, as I prefer the look of silver jewellery to gold. However, worth noting is that the 'silver' colouring of the bracelet has started to tarnish already. While it is not noticeable to anyone who is not looking for such discolouration, if this is an issue to you, I would bear it in mind before buying. I'm not sure how you would clean it either, as it's obviously not real silver and so I don't know if silver polish would work on it.

It is attached by a clasp, which at first I found very tricky to do up, and had to ask the people around me to help me out on many occasions. However, I now have the knack of it, and the clasp is not so tiny that it's impossible to do up.

Another consideration you may wish to make is with regard to the size of your wrist. I have (what I think is) quite a small wrist, and so I was initially worried that the bracelet would fall off. However, it falls to about a third of the way down my hand, and cannot move beyond there. I think it is worth estimating whether the bracelet will fit around your wrist before buying, just in case.

The bracelet costed £3.99 in store. However, I managed to get it for around £3.20 thanks to a 20% off voucher. If you have a student card, you can also get 10% off instore.

Overall, I'd recommend this bracelet as it is a really nice accessory that I wear with pretty much everything.
