Orchira Baroque Pearl Bracelets
Initially, I purchased these Orchira Baroque Pearl Bracelets as a gift for my mum. We are both allergic to certain types of metal and these freshwater pearl bracelets are entirely metal free, which is a rare find and I snapped them up immediately. Often bracelets are mostly metal free, but then a clasp or some other small detail of metal just makes them an allergic reaction waiting to happen. After my mum's gift arrived and I tried them on, I decided that I liked them so much that I would keep this set for myself and I would order her another set for Christmas.
For your money you get five individual pearl string elastic bracelets. The individual stones or pearls are very small and they are a mixture of roundish shapes, with a lot of tiny flaws. However, all the little flaws and individuality of each pearl only adds to the overall look and appeal of the jewellery. Personally, I think that these bracelets look really elegant.
The individual pearls as I mentioned are very small, measuring about 4 millimetres in size each, but when you wear all the bracelets or even a few of them they look like a really nice combined size. I think I would say that I have pretty average wrists and the lengths of these bracelets are nice, they are quite tight and not too lose. In my opinion, if you where to wear only one bracelet it might not look the greatest but in a combined set of a few strands they sit on your wrist very well.
These are a lovely pearly white/creamy colour that looks great if you wear a couple of them, all five of them or mix them with any other bracelets you have. These are easy to dress up or dress down for everyday wear. Personally, I like to wear a couple of the bracelets around and with my silver watch.
I was a tad disappointed that Amazon imply by showing a picture of a box that these come with a box. They don't. They come in a bit of a flimsy material drawstring bag. It was a light grey bag with the name Orchira on the front and a baby pink drawstring pull. Personally, I don't think it looks all that great so I have invested a few more pounds in buying a separate display box to put them in for wrapping up for my mum's Christmas present.
These were a real bargain. I bought mine from Amazon for less than £12 (with the recommended retail price of £20) and they look like they should have cost a lot more than that. These are really nice, with the exception of the aforementioned presentation bag.
Although I bought these initially for my mum and then for myself, I would also suggest that these would also suit younger girls. These bracelets are really versatile piece of jewellery. Especially in the light natural colour as they have the ability to go with a lot of different outfits during different times of the day and different seasons of the year.
In my opinion, these deserve a full five out of five stars. I would highly recommend these for yourself and/or for stocking filler gifts.
Just as a side note these bracelets are also available in different colour mixtures, there is a nice creamy and grey pearl mixture that I am also contemplating buying.
