The Pandora leather bracelets are another expansion to the concept of building a collection of charms to represent the events in everyones lives, indeed, Pandora's slogan is 'unforgettable moments'.
The leather bracelets come in black, brown, pink, purple, white, red and grey. You also have to choice of a single leather bracelet (£40), or a double wrap bracelet (£45). Pandora has also recently released a brand new triple bracelet in black and metallic grey (£50).
The bracelets are a plaited set of three strands of leather, with a 925 sterling silver clasp.
They are alot more casual then the solid silver bracelets, as you are advised not to fill the leathers as they may stretch under the weight of the charms. But could be dressed up or clipped together to create a different look!
The same charms which go on the silver bracelets fit onto the leather ones, giving you hundeds of choices of colours, metals and designs. The charms themselves will move around freely on the leather bracelet, but a new 'rubber grip' concept for the clip charms has been brought out to keep the charms fixed in one place.
No more than around 5 charms are advised on the single bracelet, and 7-9 on the double bracelet.
The silver parts of a Pandora product are guaranteed for any manufacturing faults for one year, and the leather itself has a 6 month guarantee.
I have had a black leather bracelet for around two years and have had no problems whatsoever with it! I have followed the guidelines such as not wearing it in water and not overfilling it, and it has stayed in very good condition! The black colour is very durable as well, which I think the paler white colour would not be.
All in all a good piece of casual jewellery for any Pandora addict!
I am a big fan of these and all things Pandora. It seems such a simple concept of a different way to wear a charm bracelet. I have my Mum's old silver charm bracelet she had when she was my age and she said you had to take the charms to the jewlers every time to have them soldered onto the bracelet. It is a big heavy thing too!
I love that i can change the charms to suit my outfit or mood and not have to wear them all at the same time if i don't want to. I love that each one has a story and has been bought for me by someone special.
My leather weave bracelet was a Christmas gift from a special friend and she bought me a matching glass bead. I have to say that as i am quite small, i can get the double weave one round my neck too! It looks really nice and i wear it all the time, sometimes as a necklace and sometimes as a bracelet! The catch is really strong and sturdy and has a little screw fix to twist the beads onto so they don't fly off and get lost when you put it on and take it off. I like that this has been thought of and taken into account when made. I would say though to make sure you don't get it wet because it can become a little ratty and look worn.
There is a massive range of charms for these for all occasions and in all colours and it is so easy to collect and keep forever.
The Pandora Range is truely a special thing to buy and give and wear yourself - and keep forever to cherise with all the special memories that come with it.
I have loved Pandora ever since I received my silver bracelet for my 21st birthday, and I have been collecting charms for it ever since. I often go into my local Pandora shop just to have a browse, but I never buy myself anything as it is quite expensive. I just like to drop hints to my boyfriend instead!
Last summer when I went on holiday with my friends, we noticed that Newcastle airport had a Pandora section. I had wanted one of these weaved leather bracelets for a while but they cost £45 for the double one. You can also get a single one for £40. I like the double one though as it would be much more noticeable on my arm. There was a few colours to choose from, including this pink that is in the picture, black, grey, tan brown, red and cream. I like the black one and so I tried it on and the lady who worked there said it would cost 36 euros. I know it is duty free but I still thought this was quite cheap and so didn't really consider it and said I would buy it straight away. There are three sizes to choose from (at least there was only three sizes to choose from at the time). I have very small wrists and so I needed the smallest one.
A few of my friends also bought one but in other colours. I must warn you though do not accidentally put one of these in the washing machine! My friend who has the red one didn't realise she left hers in her pocket and when it came out of the washing machine the red had faded quite a bit, however she still wears it.
All of these ones that originally cost £45 if you buy it from your usual Pandora shop have the silver clip on it that you use to fasten it and that also has 'Pandora' engraved on it. You can also get them with gold clips however these cost a lot more at £370.
I have worn mine ever since I bought it just as it is, and I haven't put any charms on it. As it is leather then I like to wear it alone. Any charms I have received I have just been putting on my silver Pandora bracelet as I want to fill it up. However, I may transfer a couple of the charms onto my leather one now, but not actually fill it up so you can still see the leather.
The quality of this product is very good and I've never had any problems with it. The silver clip on my other bracelet bent a bit inside which prevented me from closing it properly but when I took it to the Pandora shop they fixed it for me straight away free of charge. The clip is slightly different on this leather bracelet though and its not as easy to 'bend' one of the bits of metal inside that prevents you from being able to shut it properly. I think they must have had a lot of people having the same problems with the clip and so they changed it slightly.
I really recommend this product although I do think it is quite expensive, which is why I bought mine for cheap while I had the chance, otherwise I may not have treated myself to one otherwise at the full price of £45.
I am not a huge fan of Pandora just because its something everyone has (well every young girl around seems to have one). I found myself in a Pandora shop and found myself purchasing this double weaved bracelet in white leather.
Mine is white leather but comes in a variety of colours including pink and black.
This comes as a long piece of leather which wraps around the wrist twice and is secured by the clasp (Pandora). It is quite difficult to put on by yourself so you may not someone to help.
The standard for an adult is 41cm but comes in a smaller size as well.
It is best to have a slightly bigger size because if you do choose to have charms added there is room for them to be added comfortably.
This retails at £45.00 and is available in most jewellers and online.
In my opinion I think this is a lot of money for something that looks very plain by itself. I would much rather invest in something like Links where you get better value for your money. It does not look stunning and could easily get passed for something other than what it is.
If you do buy this then I would recommend getting a charm with it as well to give it some character.
Pandora Double Leather Bracelets
Come in sizes 15cm - 21cm. Made to wrap twice around the wrist. Pandora printed metal clip.
What I noticed immediately was the woven leather pattern of the bracelet and the secure metal Pandora clip which connects the two ends, completing the bracelet and ensuring it says on your wrist.
The Double Leather Bracelet is capable of holding many charms which make the accessory personal to you. I bought a silver heart with a clear diamante to put on the bracelet, it's easy to put the charms on to it, un-clip the Pandora metal clip, then you just spin them on, then secure the Pandora clip. I think it's a great idea to be able to personalize the bracelet.
The price of this bracelet was 40 GBP when I bought it. I think it's expensize, considering it's size. However it is top quality, I have never bought jewellery of a better quality. The charms are expensive too, they're only small, the one I got is smaller than my thumbnail and it cost 25 GBP.
I love the bracelet, I have to say it's stunning. The craftsmanship is outstanding and nothing is even a fraction of a millimetre out of place. I'm sure any partner would adore a present like this for Valentine's day.
The leather is smooth and thick, it feels like it's from a designer cow! (haha...). The silver is shiny and feels smooth too, but not slippy. It's easy to clip both ends of the bracelet together, and easy to un-clip too. But to un-clip, some level of pressure is required.
Another plus side is that it doesn't irritate the skin at all. Other bracelets I have worn have given me dry skin or other problems. However this one didn't irritate. (I wore it for a day, don't tell my girlfriend - I've not given her it yet, which means I own it currently, therefore I am able to review it)
The detail and thought that goes intp the packaging is impressive too, I received the bracelet in a small, sturdy, pretty, Pandora-logo-embossed, white box with purple lining and foam interior base.
