“ Brand: Pandora / Type: Charm „
Over the last couple of months I have reviewed my Pandora Starter Bracelet together with a handful of charms that I own. My initial intention for my bracelet was to half fill it, but due to the issues with a Pandora safety chain it was necessary for me to complete the bracelet and I can't state that I was complaining at the fact that I needed to purchase more charms! Unfortunately, I filled the bracelet with too many charms and as a result the chain was unable to bend, which caused me problems when placing it on my wrist and subsequently removing it. Consequently, it was necessary for me to remove one charm, which left the bracelet with a small gap so I opted for a spacer and this review discusses the Pandora Tyres Silver Spacer. Spacers are exactly as their name would suggest and they are intended for filling spaces on the bracelet and are much more affordable than charms. I found myself with a large number from which to choose, but I selected this particular spacer as I found the three lines of silver running around its surface extremely eye-catching. The spacer is made from sterling silver and measures approximately 8 mm in diameter and 4 mm in width. The base colour of the charm is grey/black, which I believe to be oxidised silver although I can find no information to suggest this. I was initially sceptical about purchasing any charms that are oxidised, particularly as I learned that they can possibly lose their grey/black appearance over time and will bear the look of standard sterling silver. Apparently, this is due to their contact with the skin as well as general wear and tear although I cannot speak of this process occurring with my charm as of yet. The three lines displayed on the charm initially give the illusion of sparkling stones, but they are actually tiny raised circular areas of silver. I think it's rather odd that Pandora have chosen to name this charm "tyres", as I can see absolutely no resemblance although I wouldn't mind having four of these spacers fitted to the wheels of my car! If you are familiar with Pandora you will be aware that they normally display their authenticity markings on all of their jewellery where the initials "ALE" depict the founder of the brand and "925" demonstrates the silver content. However, due to there being insufficient space on the spacer these details have been omitted, but as I purchased mine from a genuine Pandora stockist I have the assurance that my piece of jewellery is authentic. The spacer is easily threaded onto my bracelet and despite being so small it looks very effective and is even more beautiful when it catches the light. I regularly clean the spacer with a specialist cloth, which I obtained free of charge from my local Pandora stockist. You can purchase this spacer for £15 at all reputable Pandora dealers and it comes with my full recommendation together with 5 stars. I hope you found my review useful and thanks for reading.
