I recieved this suitcase pandora charm as a leaving gift from work, they chose this charm in particular as I was leaving to go travelling. I thought that this was a lovely idea. This charm retails for £30.00.
The pandora model number of the suitcase is 790362.
This cute little suitcase charm is an ideal gift for so many occasions; to celebrate a holiday, for someone going travelling, for someone moving, for someone whom the destination stickers on the suitcase mean something to them. You could even just treat yourself to the charm for any of the above reasons.
This suitcase really is very cute, and lots of detail has gone into making this little charm.
The suitcase is really lovely, it is an old fashioned square sided suitcase, it has indents at each ot the eight corners to represent corner protectors. It has a ridge all the way around to represent where the suitcase would open, it even has a little square shaped handle on the top of the suitcase. One side of the suitcase has the destination sticker DK and a palm tree engraved on it, the DK represents Denmark, as pandora is Danish. The other side of the suitcase has the destination sticker Paris and an Eiffel tower engraved on it.
The suitcase is is stamped on the base with 925 (for sterling silver) and ALE (for pandora).
This is a lovely little charm and it is definately one of my favourites, especially due to the circumstances in which it was recieved.
This little suitcase from Pandora is one of my favourite charms that I have on my bracelet. It isn't the most impressive looking or the most beautiful but it was a gift from someone special and reminds me of a special time in my life which just makes it all the more precious to me personally.
As with all Pandora charms the suitcase is tiny but it has a surprising amount of detail in it if you look closely. It is about 1 cm in size and as well as having the square shape of the suitcase it also incorporates a handle and some detailing on the top and bottom which is what makes it look like a suitcase as opposed to just a square lump of silver. It also has what I presume are supposed to be stickers on the sides just like an old fashioned suitcase might have had.
The charm is fully hallmarked 925 to signify it is made from silver and it also has the ALE stamp to show that it is a genuine Pandora charm.
I have had it awhile and it fits my charm bracelet perfectly and feels really secure when it's on which is one of the reasons I like Pandora charms so much more than cheaper versions. The quality of them is top notch and I'm never worried about them breaking or snapping if I accidentally bang it whilst it is on my wrist.
I think this little charm would make a fabulous gift for a loved one especially if it is for someone who loves to travel. It costs around £30 and if you buy it in the Pandora shop it comes in a beautiful little box as well as a Pandora gift bag which is fastened with a gorgeous ribbon which in my opinion just makes getting one all the more special.
Last year me and my fiance took a trip to Florida, I had been so excited for months before we went as we had never been on holiday together and this was a special 'first' in our relationship.
I love to travel and see new places and I think this is why my little suitcase shaped charm is so special to me. On one side of the charm there is a little Eiffle Tower and a little sticker engraved saying 'Paris' on it (this is special to me as I got engaged in Paris), and on the other side of the charm there is a little Palm Tree and a sticker with the letters 'DK' engraved on it (this is special to me as the little Palm Tree reminds me of Florida).
On our way to the airport my fiance presented me with the little suitcase charm to remember our 1st holiday together. This is what I love about the Pandora brand, every charm is different and means something different and carries different memories to each woman.
The suitcase charm is 100% sterling silver and fits perfectly onto the Pandora bracelet, it costs £30 at the moment and is a great gift to give someone who has a Pandora bracelet (or is nice as a treat to yourself) especially if they/you love to travel or have a special holiday for example a honeymoon coming up. You can buy this charm from Pandora stores, online or from some good jewellers.
Back in December I was really ill so I thought I'd treat myself to a little present. The new Pandora shop had just opened in High Wycombe so I decided to buy a new charm for my bracelet.
Pandora are a company who manufacture jewellery, including rings, charm bracelets, and necklaces. Their charm bracelets are probably their most popular item and I own one in silver which I like to top up with a new charm every now and then. On this occasion I didn't know what kind of charm to buy so I went into the shop to talk to a sales assistant about it. I told her I was about to go to France for six months and she suggested that I buy the suitcase charm to represent the important trip I was about to make.
As can be seen from the picture above, the suitcase charm has a little palm tree on it and the letters 'DK' which I guess is because Pandora is based in Denmark. The other side of the suitcase, which cannot be seen in the Dooyoo picture, has a little Eiffel Tower on it, along with the word Paris. This made it the perfect going away present for myself!
I decided to buy it, and it cost £25 which is pretty average for a silver Pandora charm. It is roughly 1cm squared in size which is again very normal for a Pandora charm, which is great at this means it looks perfect on my bracelet along side the others. It is sterling silver, stamped with the 925 ALE hallmark, as are all the other silver pandora items.
One of the things I like a lot about this charm is like it is mainly shiny silver, but the corners of it and the bits around the pictures/letters on it are more of a 'dirty' silver. This gives it a slightly vintage look which works really well.
I'd reccomend this charm as a perfect little present for someone who's going away, especially if they happen to be going to France! It could also be good for someone who perhaps goes travelling a lot, or works in the travel industry.
Pandora charms can be bought from www.pandora.net as well as from any of their stores or stockists. You can find your nearest store on the website. They can also be purchased from Ebay but be careful as there are so many fakes around!
One other thing about Pandora bracelets and charms is that they can pick up dirt after a while due to the small charms and nooks and crannies in some of them. If recently purchased a silver cleaning cloth for mine and it's now looking nice and shiny again.
For her 16th birthday my daughter wanted a Pandora bracelet. She was lucky enough to receive one and now has several beads and charms on it. She treats it like a traditional charm bracelet and chooses her charms as reminders of people or events.
One of the nicest charms that she has is one that she bought herself as a reminder of the trip I took her on to Paris to celebrate the end of her GCSEs.
The charm is a little, traditionally shaped suitcase in silver. The charm is about 1cm long and has beautiful detailing with corner protectors and a handle at the top as part of the design. Each side of the case has destination stickers on it like used to be seen on the brown suitcases of seasoned travellers when any travel was still the preserve of the very wealthy. On one side of the case there is the word Paris and also a small representation of the Eiffel Tower. It was this reference to Paris that really grabbed my daughter's attention but when she looked at the charm in the Pandora shop she found that when it was turned over the other side has a sticker marked DK and another of a palm tree. Since we are a family have been lucky to travel a lot in the last few years so she was even more enthusiastic when she saw that aspect.
As with all silver Pandora beads this one is stamped 925 ALE and has the internal thread so that it can be screwed securely on to the Pandora bracelet. This charm cost £30 and is widely available from official Pandora stockist across the county. The charm has been on her bracelet now for about 8 months and even though she wears it every day it still looks perfect and has even stayed very clean!
This really is a most attractive charm. The detailing is really exquisite and is a lovely reminder of the golden age of travel but it still serves well as a memory charm to remember a special trip like the one we shared when we headed to Paris together.
