“ Brand: Pandora / Type: Bead „
I actually have two of these Murano glass beads for my Pandora charm. One was a gift and I liked how it looked so much in comparison with my silver beads that I decided to buy myself another one.
I bought mine from my local Pandora shop and it cost me £35 but you can find stockists all over the internet.
The charm is circular in shape and it is made from Murano glass with the two sides made of silver. As with all Pandora charms it is hallmarked 925 to indicate that it is silver and ALE to show that it is a genuine Pandora item.
The Murano glass beads come in all different sorts of colours but the two that I have are purple. The thing that really drew me to the bead was just how vivid it looks. The glass is really high quality and catches the light fantastically really seeming to sparkle when under light or outside.
I really like how the colour of the bead breaks up the silver of my bracelet. Although I love all my charms because they are so small it can be hard to notice them properly. With having the coloured glass beads strategically placed along the bracelet it makes the silver charm much more noticeable and they no longer just look like little lumps of silver.
Although it is glass I have knocked it countless times when my bracelet is on my wrist and it has remained in excellent condition. It doesn't appear to have any scratches on it and is really sturdy and I have no worries about it smashing or breaking.
If you are looking for a really pretty and vibrant charm to go along with your silver beads then I can definitely recommend this Murano glass one. The colour choice is really good and the ones that I have looked at in the shop have all been just as gorgeous as my purple ones.
When I ordered my Pandora bracelet, I decided to order some charms to go with it as I don't like how it looks bare. I decided I wanted to have a silver, white and pink bracelet so searched for pink beads. The one I chose was a Murano glass bead. Although it is glass, it seems quite sturdy so I have no concerns about it breaking.
Unsurprisingly, this is a popular colour choice and there were more pink than any other colour; but, seeing as they were all reduced, this was the last pink one left.
This will normally cost £35 but I bought for £28 from Mememe Accessories though they have now increased the price to £31.50.
The bead is very pretty and feminine, currently my joint favourite on the bracelet. It is a mid pink see-through colour and down the middle of the bead in light milky pink is running a zigzag pattern that rather reminds me of the shape of fusilli pasta.
To put it on the bracelet, simply stick your nail in the bracelet clasp to open it up, and twist the bead around the spirals till it falls naturally down the bracelet then close the bracelet back up again.
On side is branded Pandora and on the other are written 925 ALE which is supposed to be the mark of authenticity.
In some places you get a bead box with the purchase, I just got a cardboard flat box with pink tissue paper.
I think it looks very pretty and will contrast nicely with the silver beads and other more bright coloured ones too and bring some variation to the bracelet.
