A gorgeous addition to my Pandora bracelet

I own a beautiful Pandora My First Bracelet and am amazed at the vast amount of beautiful charms, beads and spacers that the brand has to offer. Whilst I shudder at the thought of real life snakes, I was captivated by the sterling silver one created by Pandora and this review discusses hissing Sid.

Sid the snake measures approximately 10 mm in length and 10 mm in width and can be described as extremely cute. His tiny body fully coils three times with two additional partial coils to display his head and slightly pointed tail. What I find so adorable about this little snake is that the fact his appearance is so enchanting. Despite the charm being of such small proportions his face exhibits tiny eyes that have been perfectly crafted into the sterling silver together with his mouth, which whilst open, offers an adorable appearance.

I must admit that it is only since I became the owner of Pandora jewellery that I learned of the meaning of the marking "925", which replicates the amount of silver contained within the piece of jewellery. The 925 refers to the amount of silver, ie 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals. I was intrigued to learn what the letters "ALE" depicted as they can be found on almost all of Pandora's jewellery. Following a little research I discovered that they are the initials of the founder of Pandora, namely Algo Enevoldesen.

The markings can be found on the rear end of the snake and although tiny, they give me the assurance that my piece of jewellery is genuine, particularly as there are so many fakes currently flooding the market. However, I have learned that not all Pandora charms carry these markings, which is the case when there is insufficient space on the item. Consequently, I will only make my purchases from a genuine Pandora store so that I can be 100% certain of their authenticity.

The snake contains tiny threads within the core, which will subsequently enable me to thread the charm onto my bracelet. I often discover tiny bits of fluff embedded between the coils despite me removing the bracelet every evening, but cleaning the charm is an easy task where I use a small cloth and I store my bracelet in a beautiful Pandora box when it's not being worn. Provided the charm is kept clean it offers a beautiful sparkle and looks absolutely adorable on my bracelet where it is accompanied by several other charms and Murano glass beads. The charm is available from all Pandora retailers, charm number 790171 at a cost of £30 and receives my full recommendation and as a result Sid receives 5 ssssssstars.

I hope you found my review useful and thanks for reading.
