As an owner of a Pandora Starter Bracelet I am always intrigued to see other people's choice of charms. I would describe myself as someone who is very organised and caring, but I have an extremely mischievous sense of humour and I think my choice of charms portray my personality extremely well. The charm I am reviewing today is a sterling silver handbag, which is one of the last pieces that I added to my now full Pandora bracelet.
The handbag measures 10 mm in width and 10 mm in height and is very appealing to the eye with its shiny finish. Pandora has created this little charm to perfection with its beautifully curved handle that is firmly attached to the top of the bag. The bag gives a slightly padded appearance, which creates the illusion that it is full, which is the case with my real life handbag, which is always bulging!
The flap section of the handbag is a semi-circular shape with a pretty fluted edge, which displays a number of circular indentations within the silver. The handbag fastener is a sparkling zirconia in an eye-catching pale shade of pink. I was initially a little dubious about owning a piece of jewellery containing a zirconia, particularly as rings I had owned years ago lost their sparkle within a matter of weeks. However, by ensuring that my bracelet never becomes wet and the fact that I clean it on a regular basis, the stone looks as good now as the day I first bought the charm despite me continuously wearing my bracelet.
The core runs the entire length of the handbag to enable me to effortlessly screw the charm onto my bracelet. Each area of detail is of perfect proportions and despite its miniature size it gives the appearance of a real life handbag. Pandora display authenticity markings on all of their jewellery with the exception of charms that do not offer sufficient space for the familiar "ALE" to depict the brand and "925" to identify the silver content. Due to the smooth and shiny surfaces of the charm I had initially expected it to show a few signs of wear and tear. However, I am pleased that this is not the case and my charm looks as good now as the day I first bought it.
This is an absolutely delightful charm and retails at £40 from all Pandora stockists, reference number 790309. You can also purchase this charm in gold, which is only something I can dream about as it's way out of my price range. I can highly recommend this cute little handbag charm and as a result it receives 5 stars from me.
I hope you found my review useful and thanks for reading.
