As you may see I recently reviewed my wedding dress, the next part of my outfit for my wedding day was to be my jewellery. I didn't really know what sort of jewellery I wanted other than I didn't want anything too over the top, I wanted to keep it quite simple. I had no idea where to look for wedding jewellery so I decided to have a hunt around online. A lot of the sites were very over priced, that was until I came across the Love Affaire Jewellery website (www.weddingtiarasandjewellery.co.uk) it offered a range bridal accessories and jewellery sets, I had a scan through what the site had came across the Peal Diamante Spacer Wedding Jewellery Set, the set contained a necklace, bracelet and pair of ear rings, it was perfect and just what I was looking for, simple yet with a bit of sparkle, it was also very reasonably priced.

The Jewellery Set in General
The set as I have said is made up of a necklace, bracelet and a pair of ear rings, it is described as a classic jewellery set by the website, and to a certain extent I have to agree, it is similar to the traditional string of pearls that you can buy, however this set has an added bit of sparkle to make it a little bit different and with a bit of a modern feel to it. The set is advertised as being ideal for brides and bridesmaids, however I was the only one who wore this set, I selected a different set from the same website for my 3 bridesmaids. The whole set is made up of pearls with silver beads covered in diamantes between them, however I will go into more detail about this later.

The Necklace
The necklace as I have mentioned had a resemblance to the tradition string of pearls that you can buy. The majority of the necklace is made up of small creamrose coloured pearls (although I could have had these in white if I wanted) Towards the front of the necklace (probably about inline with your collarbone) was a larger pearl either side this had a silver coloured bead with diamantes set in it after this the smaller pearls continued until you got to the front of the necklace where there were 5 larger pearls to finish it, the very middle pearl was ever so slightly bigger than the other 4, again in-between the larger pearls was the same sliver beads set with diamantes to separate them. The diamante set silver beads really sparkled as the light caught them and made the necklace different to a traditional string of pearls without it being over the top, the necklace had a traditional look to it with a modern twist. The necklace fastened with a hook clasp, it had a small chain at the back with allowed you to alter the length slightly if you wished, on the end of the chain were 2 small pearls separated with a silver diamante set bead, this helped it to blend in wit the rest of the necklace.

The Bracelet
The Pearl Diamante Spacer bracelet is basically the same as the necklace but a smaller version. The majority of the bracelet is made of small creamrose pearls, the bracelet has just 5 larger pearls in the centre of it, again separated with silver diamante set beads to match the necklace. The bracelet fastened in the same way as the necklace with a small chain to allow you to alter the length of it, this too had the 2 small beads separated with the silver diamante beads.

The Earrings
The earrings which came with this set were an ideal size, not too small that they could not be seen but on the other hand not big and over the top. They were made up of 2 small creamrose peals separated with a silver diamante set bead between them. The pearl had one chain link coming from it to give the earrings a slight drop to them, this in turn was attached to the post which goes through the piercing, they were secured by a small silver butterfly back which pushed onto the post once through your ear. The earrings look very elegant, and as with the necklace and bracelet the diamante set beads gave them that added sparkle which would not have been achieved without the diamante beads between the pearls.

Sizing & Colour Choice
When I brought the Pearl diamante Spacer Wedding Jewellery Set I was given a choice of white pearls or light creamrose, I selected the light creamrose as I had an ivory coloured dress and shoes and felt this would match better than white pearls, the light creamrose pearls were basically a light cream/ ivory colour and matched my dress perfectly when I had the 2 together. The other choice I had to make was the length of the necklace and the bracelet. The necklace was available in the following sizes

I decided to have an extender chain on both the bracelet and necklace (this is the small chain with 2 pearls I described earlier) I was unsure how long I would need them both to be so with the extender chain I could make both the necklace and bracelet a little bit longer or shorter if required. The other selection I had to make was whether I had silver or gold diamante set beads, I opted for the silver ones as I felt it would go better with my other jewellery which was white gold.
When I received the jewellery set it was nicely packaged in a bright pink round gift box, the items were laid inside the box on white tissue paper scrunched up and covered with a second layer to help keep it in place and safe during posting. When I first tried the jewellery on (the day I got it) I was pleased with the quality of it, it looked very stylish . I loved the way the diamantes sparkled in the light and when I put it on with my dress it was a perfect match. I was glad I had the extender chains as the bracelet and necklace were a little long for me, however the chain meant I could shorten both making them the perfect length. The clasps on both the necklace and bracelet were easy to open and re-fasten, I did get my mum to help as I did find it a bit fiddly myself but this may have been due to the fact that I was running late! , the earrings were the perfect length and easy to put through my ears, I have my ears pierced 4 times, this set only comes with one pair of earrings so I had to buy 3 pairs of studs to go with the pearl earrings. The earrings were comfortable to wear all day and did not make my ears sore at all as some other earrings do, I had no problems with these.

The Pearl Diamante Spacer Wedding Jewellery set cost £55.00 for all 3 items, compared to some other websites I looked at this was extremely good value, the 3 items in the set could be brought separately and would have cost £72.98 meaning that by buying it as a set I saved £17.98. I was extremely pleased with my wedding jewellery set, it was perfect for what I wanted and looked lovely with the rest of my wedding outfit. I would definitely recommend the Pearl Diamante Spacer Wedding set to anyone, it is the ideal bridal jewellery set and could also be worn by bridesmaids or anyone wanting an elegant jewellery set for a special occasion.
