I've always liked the look of toe rings but it is only recently that I decided to buy one for myself. Being the Amazon fan that I am, it was of course where I first looked for one. Amazon had quite a large collection of toe rings but the one that really caught my eye was this 'Sterling Silver 5 Cubic Zirconia toe ring'. It was the first toe ring that I had come across that looked solid, not a flimsy thin band that looked like it wouldn't last 2 minutes which many of the others were.
The toe ring has 5 Cubic Zirconia crystals, one large in the middle, two medium either side and then two small at either end. The stones are set in the band so they don't catch in socks or shoes etc which is a bonus. The crystals are bright and sparkly which adds a little girly edge to your feet which I particularly like, afterall, feet don't exactly win the prettiest body part of the year awards! ha
I can't fault the look and quality of the materials, however, for me there are two negative points which I feel I need to point out. The first is that I was quite suprised at the size of the toe ring. The band has an opening at the back to allow you to fit it to your size, but even when I squeezed the band completely shut it was still a little big which made it turn around a lot, leaving the crystals at the back. It also felt a little irritating because I could feel it moving around on my toe. The second negative point I have is not so much about this particular toe ring, I imagine it to be something that will occur with most toe rings. After a while of wearing it, the ring started to make my toe hurt a little, it felt as if I had a bruised toe, presumably from where I had walked and the ring had dug in. Because of this I now only wear the ring when I am wearing shoes where it can be seen, instead of permanently having it on which I had originally planned to do.
The toe ring has an RRP of £15.95, but it is currently on sale at Amazon.co.uk for just £7.99 (delivery is £1.00).
Overall, a great design! but it can get uncomfortable if you wear it for long periods of time.
