You can get a choice of chains with this necklace - mine is a bit slimmer and more delicate than the one that is pictured. The chain itself is shiny rhodium-plated silver, and is quite short - this is actually almost a choker in design. At first I worried a little about the security of the toggle closure, but the necklace has yet to show any sign of slipping off, and I've worn it pretty constantly.

A friend of mine recently went to Chicago and brought me back one of these as a present. I think she was trying to console me for the fact that I had been chained to my desk in rainy old England while she'd experienced a beautiful, snowy American Christmas. Well, it worked! Being a bit of a magpie type (drawn to shiny, glittery objects) I fell instantly in love with this necklace.
