*Introduction*

I absolutely love Christmas and one of the reasons for this is because my boyfriend always buys me the best presents. Each year he seems to outdo himself and this year was no different. He came to mine just after we had eaten and walked through the door with 2 bags full of presents from him and his family. I was thrilled when I opened my last presents, one of which was a Thomas Sabo Black Obsidian and Silver Bracelet.

Thomas Sabo Black Obsidian and Silver Bracelet is a stone bracelet made from, you guessed it, black obsidian. The bracelet holds these stones together by a stretch nylon cord which is easily slipped over your wrist.

There is one jewellery store than I am 100% certain sells the Thomas Sabo collection and that is one of my favourite jewellers, SWAG. I am pretty sure that there are other jewellers that stock Thomas Sabo jewellery but I'm not sure which these are. So, take a peek into the jewellers that you walk past whilst shopping to see if they sell the collection and see what you think.

You can buy this beautiful bracelet for just £24.95. I was stunned when I looked the price up for the purpose of this review as it looks like it costs a lot more money. I think that to pay this amount for such a fantastic bracelet is absolutely crazy but I certainly won't be complaining about it. In fact I may even buy another one in a different colour or style.

*My Opinion*

The packaging: I absolutely love the packaging for this bracelet. It is fantastic and could tempt me to buy something from Thomas Sabo by just the packaging alone. Thomas Sabo Black Obsidian and Silver Bracelet comes in a hard cardboard container which is circular in shape and not particularly deep. The base of this container is white and black stripes and the lid that fits on top of this is white with Thomas Sabo printed on the top. When you have taken off the lid, you will find a silky white draw string pouch and inside of this is a small sealable plastic bag which you can undo to take out the bracelet. I think that this packaging is very unique and special and I believe that it gives the Thomas Sabo brand that little bit extra. I was certainly impressed on Christmas Day when opening it.

The bracelet: This is a stretch nylon cord bracelet which contains black obsidian stones and a silver charm carrier. The stones are a beautiful shiny black and cut beautifully so that they reflect the light. They always look sparkly and sleek. On the bracelet, the only space that doesn't hold a stone is the part which has a small silver branded charm carrier from which 3 charms can be attached.

This bracelet is easily slipped on and off over your wrist due to the stretch nylon cord so there is no trouble at all with clasps. When I initially looked at the bracelet I thought that I would break it instantly as I tend to be clumsy and catch things all the time but it is actually really strong which is pretty essential for someone like me.

Sizes available: There are four different sizes that you can buy this bracelet in.
- Small size is 15cm in length and is recommended for children.
- Medium is 16.5cm in length and is recommended for those with small wrists.
- Large is 17.5cm in length.
- Extra Large which is 18.5cm in length.
These sizes should allow anyone that wants the bracelet to wear it as it is elasticised and the sizes are vast.

Longevity of the product: This bracelet will last you as long as you look after it well. It is a lot stronger than it looks therefore if you are good to it then it will be good to you in return. Thomas Sabo Black Obsidian and Silver Bracelet doesn't need a great deal of cleaning. If you just wipe it over with a cloth every now and then, it will look as sparkling as ever therefore if you don't like jewellery that is high maintenance then this is perfect for you.

The joy of this bracelet is that it looks fantastic when it holds one, two or three charms but it can even look lovely when on its own. And you can then buy more charms if you wish to allow you to swap them over or stick to just a couple.

To be honest, charm bracelets had never really appealed to me. Whilst at school and everyone seemed to have one, I was never the slightest bit jealous or interested. But this is a twist on your usual charm bracelet and I must say that I really love it. It looks modern and fresh and I am forever being asked where I got my bracelet from.

*Would I Recommend This Bracelet?*

I would 100% recommend Thomas Sabo Black Obsidian and Silver Bracelet. I absolutely love it. In comparison to some jewellery, it is very inexpensive therefore if you are looking for a present for a friend, girlfriend, sister, mum, etc at a low price then this may be exactly what you're looking for.

Or if you are somebody who often changes their mind about what jewellery you like to wear then this bracelet could be perfect for you as the charm(s) that you attach can completely change the appearance of the bracelet. I love this as I tend to like it to look different so I wear it with just one charm, 2 charms and sometimes 3 charms.

Thomas Sabo Black Obsidian and Silver Bracelet is one of many fantastic presents that my boyfriend bought me for Christmas. Not only does it look great and trendy but it is inexpensive, surprisingly strong and you can have a totally different look with each charm that you wear.
