These pretty little jewels are one of my favourite charms from the Thomas Sabo collection. They come in a range of colours including purple, red, pink and orange. You can buy them from thomassabo.com or alternatively buy them from a Thomas Sabo shop or stockist. They retail at £34.95 each and are designed to attach onto a Thomas Sabo charm bracelet or watch.
The charms themselves are different coloured jewels, set in sterling silver with a silver clasp. They are easy to attach onto a bracelet as they just clip on.
They come in lovely black and white packaging. If you are buying a charm on it's own, this is put into a tiny little charm box, which is then put into a little bag, which is then put into a bigger gift bag. You can tell that the packaging and the charms have both been carefully designed with the customer in mind. In the actual Thomas Sabo shops you can also have an optional spray of the Thomas Sabo perfume into your gift bag.
If you wish you can also have your charms put onto your bracelet when you are in the shop.
These are great as gifts, or as a little treat for yourself. The pendant charms are so beautifully sparkly and pretty and are perfect for nights out or even to wear in the day time.
For Christmas, my boyfriend gave me a Thomas Sabo Black Obsidian and Silver Bracelet and three charms to go with this. One of the charms that he gave me was Thomas Sabo Charm Club - Red Pendant. I am very fond of this one and hopefully by the end of this review you will understand my reasons why.
*About the Product*
Thomas Sabo Charm Club - Red Pendant is a small drop pendant with a synthetic garnet in checkerboard cut which is set in Sterling Silver.
*Price and Availability*
Thomas Sabo Charm Club - Red Pendant can be purchased online at www.thomassabo.com. You can also find it in a number of high street jewellers. SWAG is one jeweller that I am certain sells the Thomas Sabo collection as this is wear my boyfriend purchased this charm from and I have seen the collection in their store myself.
You can buy this charm for £29.95. This quantity does sound quite a lot of money for what is just 1.3cm worth of product but it does look great when it is hanging from the Thomas Sabo Black Obsidian and Silver Bracelet. And when you wear it as frequently as I do, I certainly consider it to be money well spent.
The packaging: The packaging that Thomas Sabo products come in is fantastic. It looks as good as the products themselves! The packaging for charms is adorable. First you have a very small cardboard container which is circular in shape. The container is very small and the base of this is white and black stripes. The lid sits nicely on top and is white with Thomas Sabo printed on the top. When you take off the lid, you will find a silky, white draw string pouch. Inside this is a small sealable plastic bag which holds the charm. I love unwrapping so many different bits and the fact that it is so cute makes it even better.
The charm: The red pendant charm is a synthetic garnet in the shape of a teardrop in a sterling silver setting. The stone has a checkerboard cut which allows the light to reflect nicely off the stone. The length of the charm, including the clasp, is 1.3cm in length. The stone itself isn't particularly large although I think that if it was it would probably look quite tacky. And I think that it looks great alongside my Thomas Sabo Charm Club - 'L' Charm.
In order to attach the charm to the loop on the bracelet, the Thomas Sabo charms have a clasp like those found on necklaces. This is a quite big in size so that it is very user friendly yet not so big that it looks out of place. This allows the charm to hang nicely from the bracelet.
Longevity of the product: I did worry about this charm as it contains a stone which always means that you need to be more careful as there is always the chance that you could knock or catch it and you have lost it. With this charm, I have found that it is clasped pretty tightly between the silver claws which give me a little bit more piece of mind. If you do look after it, there is no reason that it will keep for a very long time with a little polish to keep it gleaming every now and then.
*Would I Recommend This Product?*
I strongly recommend Thomas Sabo Charm Club - Red Pendant as it is very delicate, pretty and red (like Arsenal - everything always has a link to Arsenal for me). The fact that it is red is the reason that my boyfriend would have chosen this colour for me as he knows that it is my favourite colour. So if the person that you are trying to buy a present for likes red then this charm would be a very good choice. Even more so if they like pretty gems.
Thomas Sabo Charm Club - Red Pendant is a very pretty charm that looks stunning on the product that looks great Thomas Sabo Black Obsidian and Silver Bracelet. I actually prefer this charm when it is with more than one charms as it is small in size and looks better when alongside my Thomas Sabo Charm Club - 'L' Charm. A very good choice of charm in my opinion - my congratulations goes to my boyfriend.
