      Very helpful

      A beautiful lipstick charm.

As you may have noticed from some of my previous reviews, I currently own a Thomas Sabo charm bracelet. If you are unaware, Thomas Sabo is a brand which offers a wide range of quite unique jewellery pieces, and are fairly well known for their gorgeous range of charm bracelets, and their 'charm club' whereby you can pick up lots of little charms for your collection. I was lucky enough to receive a bracelet with some charms of my parents for a birthday, and the Lipstick charm just happened to be one of them.

The price for this charm is £42.95 which is definitely quite a steep price considering it is just a little charm. I personally would never be able to afford to treat myself to something like this at that kind of price, however I received this as a gift so I was happy to accept it. If you are interested in purchasing this or any other charms, make sure you buy directly from Thomas Sabo, or at least check the retailers which stock the brand as there are a lot of fakes around so do be wary of that! The price does seem a little ridiculous, and I also thought this before I owned my own bracelet, but the quality of the charms really does stand through, making it a worthwhile purchase.

This particular charm has become one of my personal favourites, and this is because I am quite known for being a girly girl. I was unable to pick my charms as I received them as gifts, but I gave my parents an indication and a few ideas. They chose this as one of mine which I was over the moon with as it has me written all over. There is another 'Lipstick' charm available in red and black, however it is considerably cheaper and I do not feel it is of high a quality of this one, so I was really ecstatic that I received this one.

As you can see from the image, it is a baby pink shade of lipstick, encased in a silver stick. Around the outside of the stick as you can see, there are some little jewels placed around which gives it a little extra sparkle. Despite being a small charm, when I attached this on to my bracelet, it really does stand out, and I think that this is due to the pink and the jewels which are added in to it. It is an extremely beautiful charm, and if you buy directly from the brand you receive it in a little drawstring pouch which makes the experience a little nicer. I could tell from the first instance that it was of a high quality, and it looks much different to various other charms I have owned from high street stores.

The charm itself is 1.7cm in size, which is quite small but what you would expect in a charm. The predominant feature of this lipstick is the silver casing, and that is made with 925 Sterling silver. The pink tip of the lipstick is enamel, and the jewels around the outside are made from white zirconia. These materials probably contribute to the steep price of the bracelet, and what makes it stand out to your regular charm as it is of such a high quality.

I have now owned this charm on my bracelet for around a year, and despite wearing on a daily basis still looks in peak condition with absolutely no scratching at all. I often have my bracelet banging off desks and tables at University and work, however these are just of such good quality that they are never effective. I have had absolutely no problems with the charm, and it attaches nicely on to the bracelet and is easy to remove off. I have never had any issues with it falling off, so you can be reassured that your investment will be worth it.

I received this as a gift from my parents for a significant milestone birthday, and I think although being a little expensive, this is a really worthwhile and thoughtful gift to give to someone you care about. Most other jewellery which I buy is just from your average high street stores, so this was a lovely change for me as it is jewellery with meaning and is quite a sentimental gift. It is perfect for a real girly girl who is into make-up and beauty due to the style of this charm, and would make a lovely gift or even just a lovely treat if you want to spoil yourself!

Overall, this has definitely ended up being my favourite charm out of my collection simply due to the beautiful detailing and extra care that has been put into it. It is of an extremely high quality, so try not to let the enormous price tag put you off it! Thanks for reading.
