As you may have gathered from some of my other previous reviews, I am the proud owner of a Thomas Sabo charm bracelet. If you are unaware of Thomas Sabo, it is a brand of jewellery which make quite unique and lovely pieces. They are probably most well known for their lovely charm bracelets and their 'charm club' where you can pick out charms to add to your bracelet to make it one of a kind. They are quite a pricey brand, but they are definitely worth it. I was lucky enough to receive some charms along with the bracelet for my birthday last year, and this pink heart charm was just one of them.
The price of the charms do seem a little extortionate at first, and I was definitely overwhelmed that I was lucky enough to have these brought for me. This particular charm is £29.95, which although being one of the cheaper charms is still quite expensive. The charms generally range from about £15 or so up to around the £100 mark, and as this is quite plain it is a little cheaper. Do not let the price put you off these though as the quality of them really does stand through. Mine were brought directly from Thomas Sabo, and I would recommend doing them this way or checking through them which retailers stock their products as there are quite a lot of fakes being sold around, so you wan to be sure you are getting the genuine result for the price you pay.
As you can see from the image, this is a gorgeous little heart shaped charm. The colour of it is a real baby pink which is one of my favourites, making this a gorgeous gift or treat for a girly girl. Although not an entirely bright colour, upon the bracelet it really stands out and adds a lot of dimension to it. I have opted to keep mine just baby pink and silver for now, so this little pink charm really stands out when worn on the wrist. Although quite plain, sometimes simple really does look better and I think this is such a gorgeous, classy charm.
It is quite a bit smaller than some of the other charms in terms of size, and this one is actually only one centimetre. However, it is the perfect size for on the bracelet, and it does not end up getting in the way of tasks like some of the longer charms often do. This little beauty is made from 925 Sterling silver and the colour is shaded with enamel. For such a small piece, this is very striking and I do feel that the image does not do it much justice as it is beautiful in real life.
I received this as a gift off my parents which was extremely thoughtful, and I would recommend purchasing this as a gift for someone you care about as it is just lovely. If you buy directly from Thomas Sabo, you get it in a gorgeous little gift box and then inside that is a little drawstring bag which opens up to reveal the charm wrapped in tissue paper. This lovely gift wrapping makes the charm an even nicer experience to open up, and I feel like this would make the perfect gift for an occasion or just as a surprise. If I had money to spare, I would however simply treat myself to some more similar to this!
I have now owned this charm for a little over a year and it still looks in as excellent condition as the day in which I open it. Considering I wear my charm bracelet near enough every day, and it is often knocking off desks at work or getting bashed around one way or another, this charm has not scratched or been affected at all by it which really shows the true quality of Thomas Sabo charms.
Overall, I would completely recommend this lovely charm to everyone as it looks beautiful when added to the bracelet, and makes a lovely gift. The only reason I will be knocking off one star is because I think that the price is a little high for such a plain charm, but other than that a great quality charm which is perfect for any charm bracelet. Thanks for reading.
