Breville JE24 ... from my father. At first i was not impressed at all thinking there arnt many uses for a juicy. I was to my delight dead wrong. I now absolutley love this thing. I juice everything, i make soup, juice, it can be used for a variety of things, its innovative and excellant to use. Its not particualally plesent looking but its strength lies in the fact that it can turn a solid fruit into a liquid juice. I had a Avari make juicer along time ago and it would always jam with the hard bits of the fruit, not with this. It has a valve and a nozzle which allow all blockages to be quickly and efficiently removed. It electricty consumption is also fairly good and its noise its minimum... Jack LaLanne Power Juicer ... pulp bucket and recycle or chuck out the leftover pulp, then stick all the dirty bits in the dishwasher! Easy as pie. The juicer comes with an excellent juice recipe book, with some tasty, energising and rather, em, interesting juices. It's a noisy thing, takes a bit of washing up if you have no dishwasher and its really quite bulky on the worksurface - do not buy this if you haven't any space in your kitchen for it. It takes up about the same amount of room as a food processor, if not more. An interesting use for the fruit pulp - give it to your small animals, my guinea pigs love it! Breville JE16 ... therfore they know what they are talking about and you can trust their products to last a long time. This machine is a real workhorse, i use it everyday in the morning to make my juice, and also at dinner parties. You can put your fruit in it whole and all the seads and pump are filtered inside the filter, which can be removed later - you will be suprised at how much pulp it holds; so there is no need to keep on emptying the maching over and over again. The machine really gets alot of juice out of the fruit, it really squeezes out every drop, i once used really dry carrots and this managed to get 3 glasses of juice out of them, so it really pays for itself.
