Great juices and no chopping (Breville JE15)

Advantages: Takes whole fruits; mostly dishwasher proof

This is a lovely juicer -- easy to use and not too bad to clean as most parts are ok in the dishwasher-- and use a liner in the waste container to reduce cleaning . A really good feature is the large shute for the fruit -- it can take whole apples and pears, so no chopping is necessary. It also has a facility to go at two speeds, so that harder fruits and vegetables (which are are often difficult to juice well in cheaper machines) can be juiced very well using the higher speed. It is quite large and takes up a lot of room on the surface, so you might not find it convenient if you don't have a lot of space. Personally, I think the benefits (especially of not having to chop first) far outweigh the size disadvantage and it's certainly made me drink more fruit and vegetable juices -- and some of the most unlikely mixtures are actually delicious.

Summary: Great juicer if there're two or more juice drinkers in the house
