Advantages: Easy to use, quick and efficient, good compact design

Disadvantages: There can be the odd spilage of juice

After being lucky enough to have recently returned home from a trip to Cyprus, one of the things that I was missing was the fresh fruit that we were getting over there. Whilst I was missing the sunshine and the beach, I really did miss waking up and going for a walk along the seafront to the juice bar. It then dawned on me that at the back of a cupboard was my juicer, so after having a little move around the juice was placed on top of my work top and I started using it again. Here are my thoughts on my Breville JE7 Whole Fruit Juicer.

I brought the juicer about a year ago now. I think it cost me around the £70.00 mark and this was from the Amazon website. I have had a look on the website and it will now cost you around the £80.00 mark which in my opinion is quite expensive. The juicer can be found in a couple of electrical shops as well as high street stores. It is quite readily available but I did find Amazon to be the cheapest.

The juicer comes with a one year manufacturer's guarantee. I remember unpacking the model and thinking to me that it did not look too complicated to use but I still had a read through the instruction booklet that came with the product. The juicer is quite bright to look at. It is red and black in colour and has a couple of chrome pieces on it. On the side is the Breville logo. I liked that the juice was quite compact; it doesn't take too much space, if it is on the work top or on in a cupboard it is a good size.

The juice is powered by a 450 watt motor and has a storage capacity of 1 litre. This is quite an easy appliance to use, once switched on and there is a good amount of electrical lead with the product, you will see that you need to place the fruit into the shoot that is at the top of the juicer. What I like is that you can add the food in as a whole so there is no need to peel or chop anything s it makes it really quick. When I first started looking for a juicer I imagined getting something that was going to be cutting fruit in half and pressing it onto it, this is much more modern.

The juicer does make some noise when it is in motion and you will hear it buzzing along. All of the pulp goes into the storage container which can be easily removed and thrown away. You are then ready to have your juice as there is an 'easy pour' attached to the juicer that allows the juice to be made into the drink. I did notice that there was a little bit of spillage when using the juicer coming from the pourer, just the few odd drips which I guess you expect but you do need to clear up quickly afterwards o you will be left in a sticky mess.

The juicer is one of those things that only gets used now and again in our household, when it is out we do use it and really enjoy it but with fruit being so much more expensive over here it is not that often. I like that this juicer takes the fruit whole as it makes you use it more as it is quite quick and certainly efficient. You feel like every drop of juice is extracted.

In summary, I am more than happy to recommend this product.
