Advantages: Easy to use and clean

The Cookworks Juice Extractor is a great entry-level juicer, for someone who wants to try juicing without risking too much outlay.

The juicer operates with a centrifugal mechanism, which is adequate for juicing most fruits and more solid vegetables such as carrots. It does struggle with leafier vegetables, for which a more powerful or masticating juicer is ideal.

It is fairly noisy but no more so than most juicers or blenders.

This juicer does tend to leave some un-juiced parts behind with the pulp, so does perhaps not get the maximum juice out of fruit and veg.

On the plus side it is relatively quick and easy to clean. This is a serious consideration when buying a juicer as some can take so long to clean after each use that they might just put you off juicing for good.

If you have heard about the health benefits and taste factor of juicing and want to give it a go, then I would recommend this product as an excellent first-time option.
