Advantages: brilliant juicer, whole apples, easy to clean and use.

This is a fantastic juicer, I did quite a bit of research when looking for a juicer, I've had it a couple of years now and I still use it.

The kids love it, we put alsorts in from whole bunches of grapes, strawberrys, blackberries (we've picked ourselves!) and whole apples. We love to see it all come out as juice. Admittedly for the kids I have to put it through a strainer especially if we are using kiwi because they are a little funny about the pips which do seem to find their way through the juicer!

However I still think it's great, I've had no problems with it and I notice that you can buy a replacement insert bit for it which will be good because we use ours so much I can imagine that gets a bit worn after a few years.

It came in quite a poorly printed box and the leaflet looked like it had been printed on a home printer so when I first took it out of the box I wondered what on earth I'd bought but the actual juicer was by far better than the printed material and at the end of the day that's what is important to me.

It is quite bulky in the kitchen but then it has to be to do all that is required!! I use mine regularly so I don't mind and I love the fact that I'm making drinks with absolutely no additives for my own children.

It has a fairly long cord, to be honest I wouldn't want it too long because it would trail behind it and make it look messy on the work top.

The price is excellent value for money I feel, I just noticed the other day as my Aunty's interested in buying one Advan do it for £39.99 but I've never bought anything from them so wouldn't know what they were like. I bought mine from the tv shopping website for about £50 three years ago.

It is easy to take apart and to wash, I actually prefer to wash mine by hand as it gets all the bits out of the masher bit better, it also comes with a brush. It can be put in the dishwasher, I sometimes put the other bits in the dishwasher although they are a bit bulky, so I find it's just as easy to wash by hand.

I don't find it all that noisy, it does make a noise when it's on obviously! My girls love to help put the stuff in the shoot although I make sure i'm around because if they don't put the stopper/plunger which pushes the fruit down in it then it all comes out and cakes the kitchen in bits of fruit!! lovely mess!!

I have just used my juicer and remebered this fab tip! put a very small bin liner in the pulp container before using and then all the pulp goes into the bag in the container, you just pull out the bag and put it all in the bin, you don't have to ever wash the pulp container then!

Summary: fabulous juicer- can't fault it, i've been pleased for over 2years!
